Activating and setting up multi-currency source with Xero

Description

This feature allows WMS to support Multi-Currency independently from an accounting system.

Detail Steps

To activate WMS as a Foreign Currency source:

  1. Add new tag <WMSAsCURSource>True<WMSAsCURSource> in Prefs.xml file and set to True.

WMS User with superuser access to action:

  1. Go to Tools > Preferences.

  2. Replication .

  3. From the drop-down list, select "WMS Foreign Currency" and Record Preferences.

Exchange Rates management:

To adjust standard rates:

  1. Go to Tools > Manage Lists > Exchange rates.

3. Select "Update Exchange Rate."

4. Confirm to update the new rates.

FX rates should be updated optionally.

Select From AUS and To your preferred currency.


​To update currency rates in Bulk via Import/export file:

  1. Go to Tools > Manage Lists > Exchange rates.

  2. Select Export and Save WMS-CURRENCY.csv the file.

  3. Update the rates and save WMS-CURRENCY.csv the file.

  4. Go back to Tools > Manage Lists > Exchange rates.

  5. Select Import Rates> select WMS-CURRENCY.csv and press 'Confirm'.
