How to assign batch serial/s for WorkOrder/s:

There are couple of ways how to manage batch numbers and link to the Sale/s

a) If you Create WorkOrder from Sales Order then this creates instant link of your Built Item/s with assigned batch number.

b) Create new Workorder (not linked to any particular Sale) and select your batch number via Sales Picking or Receiving screen.

Note to remember! On WorkOrder Pick screen after you enter your unique batch serial number then jump to Receiving Entry and make sure to untick (if ticket) "Use Batch serial number by Line".

Then system will apply your selected batch number that you have entered via Pick screen. Otherwise system will auto-generate new batch number.
