This article instructs how to resolve MYOB and WMS connection after MYOB ABSS (Asian Business Software Solutions) driver update.

Users are unable to replicate after MYOB upgraded to ABSS v23.8.

Users are unable to replicate after MYOB upgraded to ABSS v23.8.

Status reporter displays a message: Unable to open the MYOB company file.

The issue caused by ODBC Driver not been registered and updated in the MYOB_ODBC.ini file.

Detail Steps

  1. Complete Installation

  • Uninstall ABSS application

  • Install new ABSS application

  • Go to C:\ABSS_Premier_v23\DataUpg

  • Click upgrade/save abss company file

2. After upgrade

  • rename the OLD myo file etc. OLDXxxxx.myo then move the current Xxxxx.myo file to the correct file location etc. C:\ABSS_Premier_v23

When uninstalling the old ABSS edition and installing the new, the new ODBC driver will be auto-updated.

3. Locate and Open MYOB_ODBC.ini file

C:\Program Files (x86)\Datapel Systems\Common

Make sure the below 2 fields are showing correct data:

  • DriverName

  • DriverPath

  • MYOPath
