Description

Default bins can be set to reload a bin name into some transactions.

For example, the system will automatically load the bin name in the bin receiving field when a purchase is received. If desired, the bin can be manually changed on the receive form to another bin.

Detail Steps

To manage Putaways:


1. From the Tools menu, select Manage Lists.

2. Select Item Putaways…

Double Click on the star * and choose the relevant details.

  1. The details can also be exported and imported—load one item as shown above to view the import layout.

  2. Setting a default bin does not move stock on the shelf to the bin. Inventory can be stored in any location in the warehouse regardless of the default bin location.

  3. Default bins can be set up for use on picking slips and other documents before picking, whereas actual stock location bins can only be shown after the stock has been picked within the software.
