This article explains how WMS calculates Inventory Value OnHand.
Detail Steps
Value OnHand calculated for inventoried Accounting items or forced inventory items with WMS.
WMS also allows you to store some average cost figures against the items in the WMS for non-inventory accounting items.
This allows you to carry on a value for the goods based on your purchasing prices.
Turn ON valuation
Login as superuser
Open Inventory card
Go to Settings Tab
Change from *None to Average Cost
Close and Confirm the changes.
This needs to be setup for each item individually, or contact Datapel Support for a bulk update request.
Value OnHand is not looking at Last or Standard costs - ONLY AVERAGE COST
Batch-based results are not supported.
