Step 1. You need to setup a Label Layout that matches the barcode dimensions and label printer settings. Select Tools > Barcodes > Label forms.

Step 2. Choose any existing LABEL LAYOUT and click Edit Label Template.

Step 3. Enter the details for a single label. The example below is for a 100mm x 70mm label. RENAME the label by clicking in the Select Label field and overtyping the original template name.

Step 4. Click Save Form and you are ready to layout a new LABEL using the Layout Wizard.

Step 5. Select Tools > Barcodes > Layout Wizard.

Step 6. Click Create New Layout and assign a label name and choose the previously created LABEL FORM > Begin Layout.

Step 7. Choose an ITEM layout which is CODE 128 Barcode font. Please note that the label can be updated later to refine the layout for font and barcode sizes after you have run a few test prints.

Step 8. Now select the general format of text lines to be applied. In this example, we choose 1 above and 3 below.

Step 9. Choose the FONT format for each line.

Step 10. Enter the required text content to be applied.

Step 11. Now save the Template.

To print a series of labels

Step 1. Choose Print Labels from the TOOLS > Barcodes menu.

Step 2. Select the LAYOUT form.

Step 3. Choose RANGE then enter the PRODUCT CODE and DAY CODE in the PREFIX as shown below. To create a series of codes enter a number to start from and end to.

Workflow Restriction

NOTE the leading 1XXXX is required to maintain format. Choose Print Barcodes.

It is common that some tweaking is required to get the layout as per your requirements. Below is the output from this example.
