  • Return to the Despatch Register.

  • Once the stock is retrieved from the warehouse the order must be PACKED. Double-Click on the record or click on Pack Stock from the Shortcuts sidebar.

Workflow Restrictions

This procedure can be used to manage FORWARD ORDERS and pre-allocate stock to SaleOrders.

Related Information

When Creating and Picking Orders RTP line items will have STOCK ALLOCATED AUTOMATICALLY.

In some cases, stock may need to be reserved for other orders yet to be processed. In this case, WMS needs to be forced to create a BackOrder for stock items even though enough stock is available for the current orders entered in the system.
