Description
Mobility stock count – bin audit – allows users to perform stocktakes in specific bins.
A quick audit event is not required a second user check/recount if there is a variance/different stock quantity.
Workflow Options Please note that the steps below are required to perform a typical Quick Audit Event Mobility Workflow. You may find your workflow is slightly varied i.e. one or two steps missing, order of steps slightly varied. |
Detail Steps
Step 1: Turn on the Velocity and from the Mobility Home select option “Stock Count”.
Step 2: Select option Bin Audit.
Press the Main Menu button to return to Mobility Home > Go to Step 1.
Step 3: Stock Count Menu > Select Full Audit Event.
Press the Resume Counting button to resume the stock count.
Press the Bin Stock Lookup button to review/lookup the bin against an item.
Press the Item Lookup button to review/lookup in the bin.
Press Quick Audit Event button > The is the same step as Full Audit Event, except it will not ask for a second count by another operator.
Press 0 to return to Main Menu.
Step 4: Select audit location in the option.
Press options 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 to select audit Location.
Pres Next button to view other locations.
Press the Exit button to cancel and return to Step 2.
Step 5: Scan or enter bin barcode to Putaway location.
If it is a scan bin barcode then it automatically goes to Step 6.
After entering the bin barcode, then press the Continue button to proceed > Go to Step 6.
Press the Back button to cancel and return to Step 3.
“ * “ is used as the default Bin location, if there is no Bin Location assigned to the item then press Continue to proceed > Go to Step 6.
Step 6: Scan or enter item barcode to audit item in the bin location.
If it is a scan item barcode then it automatically goes to Step 7.
After entering the item barcode then press the Continue button to proceed > Go to Step 7.
Press the Continue button without scanning the item barcode > Go to Step 7.
Press Back button > Go to Step 12.
Press the Complete button (image1) without scanning the item barcode > Go to Step 12.
If it returns from Step 15 then press the Complete button (image2) > Go to Step 12.
Step 7: Scan or enter batch/serial barcode.
If it is a scan batch/serial barcode then it automatically goes to Step 8.
After entering batch/serial number then press the Continue button to proceed > Go to Step 8.
Press the Back button to cancel and return to Step 5.
Press the Done button to jump to Step 6.
Press the Continue button without scanning BRN > Go to Step 8.
Enter “~” to use the default batch/serial number and press enter if the item is not using batch/serial number.
Step 8: Scan or enter item barcode to audit bin quantity.
By default, the quantity is set to the value as 1. Upon scanning or entering the item barcode, the Scan Qty value will increase.
After scanning the item, barcode and pressing Continue > Go to Step 9.
Press the Continue button without scanning the item barcode > Go to Step 9.
Press the Back button to cancel editing the quantity > Return to Step 6 (image2).
Workflow Restrictions If the Scan Count setting is turned on then quantity can only be altered by scanning each item being transferred. Example, cannot enter in a new quantity on the keypad. |
Scan Count setting is switched on.
Step 9: To confirm the quantity is correct.
Press the Yes button to re-confirm quantity – Go to Step 11.
Press the No button to edit/adjust quantity – Go to Step 10.
Step 10: To adjust the quantity.
Enter the correct quantity and press the Continue button > Go to Step 11.

Step 11: To re-confirm the quantity is correct.
Press the Yes button to re-confirm quantity > Return to Step 6 (Image2).
Press the No button to adjust quantity > Return to Step 10.
Step 12: Confirm exit to count inventory.
Press Confirm button to continue > Go to Step 13.
Then repeat Step 2. to 11. to create a new audit bin.
Press the Back button and return to Step 6.
Step 13: If counts not matching will receive the message below.
Press Continue button > Go to Step 14.
Step 14: Complete or set Pending Count Event.
Press the Event Pending button to continue count later or review set event to pending > Go to Step 16.
Press Post as Complete button to finish count event > Go to Step 15.
Step 15: Proceed to the next bin audit.
Press the Continue button and returns to Step 5.

Step 16: Press Continue button to resume count > Go to Step 17.
Step 17: Press the resume counting button to continue an event.
